International Women’s Day 2024

Thursday March 7th sees us celebrating International Women’s Day in the centre with our Sources of Power event. This lively evening of entertainment and inspiration will be held in our spacious hall. This year will see over a dozen women get together to present a great show for you to enjoy.

On the list of speakers and performers on the night include:

• Speaker Kelley Bermingham on ‘Inspiration from my Parents’

• Speaker Patrika Mani on ‘My Sister Mia Kim’s Book and Art’

• Anne Tamman – Poetry from well-known poet and coach

• The Meadowlarks, Poem from Teresa O’Mahoney and songs from local women’s social singing

• Talented painter, Denise McShannon, presents her work

• A dance performance from Stacey McPartlin

• Music and Songs from Helena McNeill and Ali Blood on guitar and songs

• A Disco of your absolutely favourite Women Power songs

Doors open at 7pm and the show will commence at 7:30pm sharp. This event is BYOB. This is a free event, but donations are welcome. And we hope to see you there.
